RoyaltySplit

RoyaltySplit is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps small publishers, anthology editors, and co-author teams track sales and automatically calculate payouts. Users import sales reports from Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Shopify, Gumroad, and direct invoices, then map each title to a contract-based split template (percentages, recoupable costs, advances, caps, and territories). The app generates monthly statements, flags anomalies (missing ISBNs, negative royalties, duplicate rows), and produces payout-ready exports for Stripe Connect or Wise. It also stores signed agreements, versioned split changes, and an audit trail so disputes are easier to resolve. This is not glamorous—it's accounting-adjacent paperwork—but it removes a recurring, error-prone chore that damages trust between collaborators and publishers.
