RubricForge

RubricForge is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps curriculum teams create, version, and audit rubrics and assessments against learning standards and course outcomes. Instead of starting from blank docs, users select a framework (state standards, IB, AP, district outcomes), choose task types, and generate a rubric skeleton with clear performance descriptors and evidence examples. An AI assistant can propose wording, flag vague criteria, and detect misalignment (e.g., rubric assesses recall while outcome targets analysis). The app keeps a change log for approvals, supports moderation workflows (calibration samples, inter-rater notes), and exports to Google Docs, Canvas, and PDF. It’s designed for real constraints: limited planning time, inconsistent rubric quality, and compliance pressure. It won’t magically fix bad pedagogy, but it will reduce the grind and make alignment visible.
