RubricForge
RubricForge is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps curriculum designers and teachers generate, version, and audit assessment rubrics tied to learning standards and course outcomes. Users pick a standard set (e.g., state standards, IB, NGSS, or custom), define the task type, and the app produces a rubric with performance levels, observable criteria, and exemplars. An AI assistant can suggest criteria language, flag vague descriptors, and check alignment gaps between outcomes, lessons, and assessments. The app stores rubric history, supports co-editing, and exports to Google Classroom, Canvas, and PDF. The realistic value is not “magic curriculum creation”—it’s reducing the grind of writing consistent rubrics and keeping them aligned across a department. Expect adoption to be strongest where rubric consistency is audited (districts, networks, accreditation-driven programs).
