RubricRater

RubricRater is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps instructors and course teams grade written assignments consistently without drowning in comments. You upload a rubric and assignment prompt, then paste or import student submissions from your LMS. The app highlights rubric-relevant sections, suggests point allocations, and generates concise, rubric-aligned feedback that you can edit before releasing. It also flags likely academic integrity issues (sudden style shifts, suspiciously generic passages) without pretending to be a plagiarism detector. The real value is standardization: it tracks how each grader scores across criteria and surfaces drift, so a 50-person TA team doesn’t create chaos. Exports go back to Canvas/Google Classroom as structured rubric scores plus comments. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI accelerates scoring and feedback, but humans stay in control.
