RubricRun
RubricRun is a web + mobile app for turning vague “do a project” assignments into clear, kid-friendly checklists tied to a teacher’s rubric. Teachers create or import a rubric, then the app converts it into student steps with examples, time estimates, and “definition of done” for each criterion. Students work in short sprints, upload evidence (photos, links, short recordings), and get instant self-check prompts before submitting. Parents can see progress without hovering, and teachers get a dashboard showing who is stuck, who is rushing, and which rubric criteria are consistently weak. This is not a full LMS replacement; it’s a lightweight layer that makes project-based learning less chaotic and easier to grade consistently. It’s realistic for schools because it reduces teacher workload rather than adding another platform to manage.
