RuckReview

RuckReview is a mobile + web AI app for amateur and semi-pro rugby teams that need video analysis but don’t have an analyst. You upload a full match recording (phone on tripod is fine). The app auto-detects key phases—scrums, lineouts, kicks, tries, penalties—and builds a timeline with tagged clips. Coaches can quickly create a “Monday review” playlist, add voice notes, and assign clips to players with one tap. It also generates a simple team report: set-piece success, kick outcomes, penalty counts, and territory estimates. The brutal truth: this only works if the tagging accuracy is good enough and upload is painless; otherwise teams will revert to WhatsApp and YouTube timestamps. The MVP should focus on reliable clip extraction and sharing, not fancy dashboards.
