RugShield is a web + mobile AI-assisted due diligence app that scores new tokens and DeFi pools for rug-pull and exploit risk before users connect a wallet or swap. It ingests on-chain signals (liquidity lock status, deployer history, contract permissions, ownership renounce patterns, tax/blacklist functions), plus off-chain signals (social account age, sudden follower spikes, cloned websites, reused whitepapers). The app outputs a simple “Risk Breakdown” with evidence links, not vibes, and a one-tap simulation that estimates worst-case sellability (honeypot behavior) using safe read-only calls and small test routes. Alerts notify users when a token they hold changes risk (e.g., owner privileges re-enabled, liquidity removed, suspicious mint). This is not a magic scam detector; it’s a fast, defensible checklist that reduces obvious losses and helps users avoid the most common traps.
