RugShield

RugShield is a web + mobile AI-assisted DeFi transaction firewall that warns users before they approve a malicious token, contract, or signature. It plugs into popular wallets via WalletConnect and browser extension support, then simulates the exact transaction (approve, swap, stake, permit, signature) to show what can actually happen: unlimited approvals, hidden transfer taxes, blacklist functions, upgradeable proxy risks, and owner-controlled drains. It also scores protocols using on-chain signals (contract age, admin privileges, liquidity lock status, holder concentration, prior deployer history) and crowdsourced incident reports. The goal is not “alpha” but preventing catastrophic mistakes that retail users keep repeating. Expect false positives early; the product wins by being conservative, transparent, and fast. Monetization is freemium: free basic warnings, paid “pro” simulation depth, multi-wallet monitoring, and team dashboards for DAOs/treasuries.
