RuleDiff

RuleDiff is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that monitors financial regulatory sources (SEC, FINRA, FCA, ESMA, MAS, etc.), converts updates into a structured “change log,” and maps each change to your internal policies, controls, and evidence. It flags what actually changed (not just that a PDF was posted), assigns owners, and generates an audit-ready trail showing when you assessed the change, what you updated, and what evidence supports compliance. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used for document diffing, semantic change detection, and suggested control mappings, but every output is reviewable and approval-gated. The MVP focuses on a narrow set of regulators and a single compliance framework per customer to avoid boiling the ocean. Realistically, the hard part is trust: you win by being accurate, transparent, and defensible in audits, not by flashy automation.
