RuleTrace

RuleTrace is a web app (with optional API-only deployment) that converts regulatory obligations into executable compliance checks and evidence pipelines. Teams map a regulation (e.g., SEC, FINRA, FCA, AML, SOC 2 controls used in finance) to specific systems, owners, and data sources, then schedule automated tests (config validations, access reviews, log retention checks, transaction monitoring thresholds) that produce time-stamped evidence. It maintains an audit-ready “chain of custody” for every control: what was tested, when, by which data source, and what changed since last pass. It’s an AI + traditional app: AI assists by drafting obligation-to-control mappings and test templates, but humans must approve everything. The product is realistic: it won’t magically interpret every rule; it focuses on repeatable, high-signal controls and integrates with common finance stacks (cloud, IAM, ticketing, SIEM) to reduce manual screenshots and spreadsheet hell.
