RumorRadar is a web + mobile AI app for public health teams to detect, triage, and respond to emerging misinformation and confusion in their community. It ingests local signals (public social posts, local news, hotline/311 transcripts, clinic front-desk notes, SMS surveys) and clusters them into “rumor themes” with volume, geography, and sentiment trends. The app then helps comms staff draft responses that match health-literacy levels and preferred languages, with citations to approved sources and an approval workflow. It also provides a simple “message A/B test” tool using small opt-in panels or SMS micro-surveys to validate clarity before publishing. This is not a magic misinformation “fix”; it’s a workflow tool that reduces time-to-awareness and time-to-response, and makes messaging more consistent across channels. Integrations focus on what departments actually use: email, SMS, Facebook/Instagram posting, and website banners.
