RunbookBot

RunbookBot is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams companion) that converts messy operational runbooks into executable, monitored workflows. Teams paste an SOP, incident playbook, or checklist; the app structures it into steps with owners, approvals, timeouts, and integrations (Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, AWS, GCP). It’s designed for “human-in-the-loop” automation: the system can run safe steps automatically, but pauses for approvals or evidence capture when risk is high. Every run produces an audit trail (who approved what, when, and why), plus post-run metrics like cycle time, bottlenecks, and failure causes. The reality: most companies don’t need more generic automation—they need fewer outages and fewer missed steps. This focuses on reliability and compliance rather than flashy automation.
