RunbookGuard
RunbookGuard is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams bot) that turns tribal-knowledge runbooks into enforceable, continuously validated operational procedures. It watches real incident timelines and change events, then flags when responders deviated from the documented runbook, when a step is missing, or when tooling/URLs/commands are stale. It also runs scheduled “dry-run checks” (read-only where possible) to verify that referenced dashboards, alerts, and access paths still exist. The AI layer summarizes incident transcripts, proposes runbook edits, and generates a diff for human approval—no auto-publishing. The goal is boring reliability: fewer repeated mistakes, faster onboarding, and cleaner audits (SOC2/ISO) with evidence of procedure adherence. This is not a full ITSM replacement; it plugs into existing ticketing and chat tools and focuses narrowly on runbook quality and compliance.
