RunbookIQ

RunbookIQ is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams bot) for IT Service Management teams drowning in tribal knowledge. It watches resolved incidents/requests and proposes step-by-step runbooks, validation checks, and rollback steps based on what actually happened in the ticket timeline, chat logs, and change records. It then routes drafts to the right approvers, tracks runbook freshness, and flags steps that no longer match current infrastructure (tools, hostnames, APIs, owners). This is an AI + traditional app: AI drafts and updates content, while strict workflows, permissions, and audit trails keep it safe for enterprises. The goal is to reduce repeat incidents, speed up onboarding, and make L1/L2 support less dependent on a few senior engineers. It integrates with common ITSM tools and knowledge bases, but focuses on operational runbooks rather than generic articles.
