RunbookIQ

RunbookIQ is a web app (with Slack/Teams integration) that captures what actually happened during incidents and turns it into standardized, searchable, step-by-step runbooks. It ingests incident timelines from chat, ticketing, and on-call tools, then uses AI to draft a runbook: symptoms, checks, commands, dashboards to view, rollback steps, and “stop conditions.” Teams can approve, edit, and version these runbooks, attach them to services, and trigger them during future incidents as guided checklists. The goal is not to replace your incident tool; it reduces time-to-mitigate by making the first 15 minutes repeatable, especially for newer on-call engineers. Realistically, this only works if you already have decent incident hygiene (postmortems, chat logs, owners). Without that, the AI will produce vague runbooks and adoption will stall.
