RunbookIQ

RunbookIQ is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams bot) that automatically converts resolved ITSM incidents and change records into usable, versioned runbooks. It connects to ServiceNow/Jira Service Management/Zendesk, pulls ticket timelines, chat logs, and resolution notes, then drafts step-by-step procedures with prerequisites, rollback steps, and validation checks. It flags missing details (commands, URLs, approvals) and routes drafts to SMEs for quick review. Over time it learns which runbooks actually reduce MTTR by linking to future incident outcomes and suggesting updates when steps drift. This is a combination app: traditional workflow + AI summarization and extraction. The goal is bluntly practical: stop losing tribal knowledge in tickets and reduce repeat incidents without forcing engineers to write documentation from scratch.
