RunbookNexus
RunbookNexus is a web app (with optional CLI) that helps platform teams standardize and safely execute operational runbooks across Kubernetes, cloud, and internal tooling. It centralizes runbooks as versioned workflows with approvals, environment targeting, and audit trails, so incident response isn’t dependent on whoever remembers the steps. The app integrates with GitHub/GitLab, Slack/Teams, and common observability tools to trigger runbooks from alerts, then guides operators through gated steps (automated commands + human checks). It includes policy controls (who can run what, where), secrets handling, and post-incident summaries that capture what changed. AI is used to draft runbooks from past incident tickets/logs and to suggest missing safety checks, but execution remains deterministic and reviewable. The goal is fewer mistakes, faster recovery, and less on-call burnout.
