RunbookRally

RunbookRally is a web app (with optional Slack integration) that turns recurring data pipeline failures into executable runbooks. It connects to your orchestrator (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect) and your warehouse (Snowflake/BigQuery) to capture failure context, logs, and recent changes. When a job fails, it suggests the most likely root causes and generates a step-by-step remediation checklist that on-call engineers can run, including safe commands, SQL probes, and rollback steps. Over time it learns which fixes actually worked for your team and promotes them into standardized runbooks, reducing tribal knowledge and pager fatigue. This is not a “magic AI fixes everything” product: it focuses on narrowing the blast radius, speeding triage, and making recovery repeatable. Teams can review, edit, and approve runbooks, with audit trails and postmortem export.
