RunbookRanger

RunbookRanger is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) for incident management that focuses on the messy middle: getting responders to take the right steps fast, and proving what happened later. Instead of being yet another ticketing/Pager clone, it attaches “live runbooks” to alerts and walks responders through decision trees, checklists, and automated commands (with approvals). It captures a complete timeline automatically: who acknowledged, what commands were run, what dashboards were checked, and what changes were made. Post-incident, it generates a draft RCA with evidence links and highlights missing data. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for workflow, permissions, and integrations; AI for summarization, timeline reconstruction, and runbook suggestions. It’s realistic for mid-market teams that already have monitoring but lack consistent execution and auditability.
