RunbookSync
RunbookSync is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that keeps incident response runbooks continuously up to date by detecting drift between what teams documented and what they actually do. It ingests signals from ticketing (Jira/ServiceNow), chat (Slack/Teams), and incident timelines, then highlights missing steps, outdated contacts, broken links, and tool changes. During an incident, it provides a clean, role-based checklist view (commander, comms, forensics) and captures decisions and timestamps automatically for post-incident reporting. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional workflows and permissions, with AI used to summarize timelines, suggest runbook edits, and generate a draft postmortem. It’s realistic because most orgs already have runbooks—they’re just stale, inconsistent, and painful to maintain, which directly slows response and increases risk.
