RValuePilot

RValuePilot is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps homeowners and small contractors prioritize insulation and air-sealing work using simple inputs and realistic payback math. Users walk room-to-room, log existing insulation type/thickness, note obvious bypasses (attic hatch, rim joist, recessed lights), and attach photos. The app estimates heat-loss impact by area and climate zone, then generates a ranked checklist: what to seal first, what to insulate next, and what to ignore because the ROI is weak. It produces a materials list (caulk, foam, weatherstripping, baffles), rough labor hours, and a “good/better/best” plan with expected energy savings ranges. AI is used only for photo-assisted identification (e.g., fiberglass vs cellulose, common gap types) and to draft a clear scope-of-work PDF for bids. It’s not a magic audit replacement; it’s a practical decision tool.
