RxPing

RxPing is a web + mobile app that sits between patients, clinics, and pharmacies to reduce the chaos of refill requests. Patients submit a refill request with photo capture of the bottle, preferred pharmacy, and a short symptom/side-effect check. Clinics get a clean, structured queue that auto-flags missing info (last visit date, required labs, controlled substance rules) and routes to the right staff member. Pharmacies receive standardized status updates so patients stop calling everyone. This is a traditional app with light AI: OCR to read labels, and a rules engine + AI suggestions to detect incomplete requests and generate a ready-to-send refill note for EHR messaging. It’s realistic: it won’t “replace” EHRs, but it can reduce phone tag and incomplete requests, which are the real time sink.
