RxPlain

RxPlain is a mobile + web AI health-education app that turns confusing medication instructions into clear, actionable guidance. Users scan a prescription label or paste discharge notes, and the app explains what the medication is for, how to take it, common side effects, red-flag symptoms, and practical tips (food interactions, missed-dose steps, timing). It also generates a short “teach-back” quiz to confirm understanding and a printable one-page summary for caregivers. The app is not a doctor: it prominently flags uncertainty, urges pharmacist/clinician confirmation for edge cases, and avoids diagnosis. It focuses on the most common real-world failure: people leaving the pharmacy or hospital without truly understanding what they’re taking. Monetization is straightforward: freemium for individuals, plus B2B licensing for pharmacies, clinics, and employer health programs that want fewer medication errors and fewer avoidable calls.
