SabbaticalKit is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps employees and managers run a sabbatical like a project: justify it, plan coverage, document handoffs, and re-onboard smoothly. It provides guided templates for a sabbatical proposal, ROI narrative, and risk mitigation; a coverage plan builder that maps responsibilities to backups; and a handoff hub that centralizes docs, access lists, and key contacts. An AI assistant reviews your plan for gaps (single points of failure, missing stakeholders, unrealistic timelines) and generates manager-ready summaries. On return, it creates a re-entry plan with 30/60/90-day goals and a change log of what shifted while you were out. This is not a “travel journal” app—it's pragmatic workplace tooling designed to reduce manager anxiety and make approval more likely.
