SabbaticalMap

SabbaticalMap is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that helps employees and managers plan sabbaticals like a project handoff, not a calendar event. It guides the employee through a structured “coverage plan” (key responsibilities, owners, risks, deadlines, access needs), then routes it for approvals and tracks readiness with a simple score. Managers get a timeline view of overlapping leaves, critical role gaps, and a checklist of what must be done before the person goes offline. It also generates a clean handoff doc and an access/offboarding checklist for IT and security. This is not a feel-good wellness app; it’s operational tooling that reduces the real fear: things breaking while someone is gone. Pricing can be per-seat or per-employee-on-leave, aimed at companies that already offer sabbaticals but execute them poorly.
