SabbaticalOps is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for HR and managers to plan, approve, and operationalize sabbaticals without chaos. It turns a sabbatical into a structured workflow: eligibility checks, policy templates, coverage planning, handoff checklists, and a timeline that forces key decisions early (who owns what, what gets paused, what must continue). It integrates with HRIS and calendars to auto-populate employee data and dates, then generates a “coverage map” that highlights single points of failure and suggests mitigation steps. The app also includes return-to-work planning: ramp-up schedules, re-onboarding tasks, and a short pulse survey to catch attrition risk. This is not a feel-good perk tracker; it’s an operations tool that reduces manager resistance by making absences less disruptive and more measurable.
