SabbatMap
SabbatMap is a web + mobile app that turns a vague “someday sabbatical” into a realistic, paced plan with guardrails. Users pick a sabbatical type (recovery, learning, travel, caregiving, creative) and a target window, then the app builds a week-by-week runway: workload handoff checklist, savings targets, HR/manager talking points, and a rhythm schedule for the sabbatical itself (rest blocks, project blocks, social time, admin). It tracks readiness with a simple score based on cash buffer, commitments, and handoff progress. The app is intentionally conservative: it flags when the plan is fantasy (e.g., too little savings, too many obligations) and suggests smaller alternatives like a 2–4 week mini-sabbatical. It integrates with Google Calendar to time-block the sabbatical rhythm and with a lightweight “handoff hub” for docs and contacts.
