SafeChapel

SafeChapel is a web + mobile app for religious schools to handle student safety and compliance incidents without chaos or cover-ups. Staff can submit structured reports (bullying, harassment, boundary violations, self-harm risk, facility hazards) with evidence, timestamps, and role-based visibility. The system routes cases to the right responders (admin, counselor, safeguarding lead), enforces required steps, and creates an audit trail that’s hard to “lose.” It includes configurable policies aligned to the school’s faith context while still meeting modern safeguarding expectations. An AI assistant helps categorize reports, draft parent/student communications, and flag missing documentation—but humans approve everything. The goal is not “more paperwork”; it’s fewer disasters: faster response times, clearer accountability, and defensible records when parents, boards, insurers, or regulators ask what happened and what was done.
