SafeMinistry is a web app with a companion mobile app that helps churches and faith-based nonprofits manage volunteer screening, youth-safety compliance, and incident documentation in one place. It centralizes background check requests, reference collection, training acknowledgments, and role-based clearance (e.g., nursery, youth group, transportation). Leaders get a live compliance dashboard showing who is cleared, expiring soon, or missing steps—so they stop relying on spreadsheets and memory. The mobile app supports quick check-in for volunteers, policy sign-offs, and secure incident reporting with attachments and time stamps. It also generates audit-ready reports for boards, insurers, and denominational oversight. This is not glamorous software, but it addresses a real operational liability that institutions increasingly can’t ignore. The product should integrate with common background-check providers and existing church management systems to reduce switching friction.
