SafeMinistry is a web app with a lightweight mobile companion that helps religious organizations manage volunteer screening, training, and recurring compliance tasks (especially for youth and vulnerable-adult programs). It centralizes background check status, policy acknowledgements, role-based training modules, incident reporting, and expiring certifications in one place. Leaders can assign requirements by role (e.g., youth leader, driver, nursery), automate reminders, and generate an audit-ready compliance packet for insurers, denominational reviews, or legal counsel. The mobile app is intentionally simple: volunteers complete training, sign policies, upload documents, and receive renewal alerts. This is not glamorous software, but it reduces real risk and administrative burden. The product should integrate with common church management systems for roster sync, but it must stand alone for smaller congregations that only use spreadsheets.
