SafeStop
SafeStop is a mobile + web app (AI + traditional) that helps riders and transit agencies detect and respond to safety issues around stations, stops, and vehicles. Riders can submit quick, structured reports (harassment, assault, medical, vandalism, suspicious behavior) with optional audio/video and precise location/time. The app uses on-device and server-side AI to auto-classify severity, redact faces/plates by default, and route incidents to the right channel: emergency services, transit security, or station staff. Agencies get a lightweight dashboard showing hotspots, repeat offenders (based on incident patterns, not identity), and response SLAs. The product is realistic: it won’t “prevent crime,” but it can reduce response time, improve reporting quality, and create actionable safety analytics without requiring a full CAD/911 integration on day one. Monetization is B2B subscriptions to agencies plus optional enterprise features.
