SafeStoryLab

SafeStoryLab is a mobile + web app for kids to create short videos, comics, and narrated slideshows inside a walled garden. It provides kid-friendly templates (show-and-tell, science demo, book report), simple editing (trim, stickers, captions), and guided prompts that keep content age-appropriate. Parents/teachers control sharing via invite-only “Circles” (classroom, family, club) with no public feed, no DMs, and no open comments—only preset reactions and teacher/parent-approved feedback. The app includes an AI-assisted “Script Buddy” that suggests safer wording, helps structure a story, and flags personal info (names, school, address) before publishing. Export is optional and watermarked with privacy reminders. The goal is realistic: make creation easy while removing the biggest reasons adults say “no” to kids posting online—privacy, moderation, and addictive social mechanics.
