SafeSwap

SafeSwap is a mobile app that helps parents and schools prevent the most common real-world safety failure: the wrong adult picking up a child. It creates a simple “authorized pickup” list with time-bound permissions (e.g., grandma today 3–5pm), photo ID matching, and a rotating QR/one-time code that staff can verify in seconds. Parents can also attach critical notes like custody restrictions, emergency contacts, and approved transport details. The app is designed for chaotic pickup lines: big buttons, offline fallback codes, and an audit trail that’s easy to export if an incident occurs. This is not a magic security product—if a school won’t enforce it, it won’t work—but for organizations that already care, it reduces human error and provides defensible process documentation.
