SagraScout

SagraScout is a mobile + web app that helps people discover authentic Italian sagre (local food festivals), regional food events, and small-town culinary traditions—without relying on spammy travel blogs or outdated Facebook posts. It aggregates event listings from municipal sites, Pro Loco associations, and local organizers, then normalizes dates, locations, menus, and ticket rules into a clean, searchable feed. Users can filter by region, dish (porchetta, tartufo, orecchiette), season, accessibility, and distance, and can save trips into an offline itinerary. The app includes practical details that actually matter: parking, cash vs card, crowd levels, whether the event is “locals-first,” and what time food runs out. It’s not a recipe app; it’s a logistics-and-discovery tool for eating like you’re in the know.
