SanctionSync

SanctionSync is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that monitors global sanctions and export-control updates and turns them into actionable, auditable alerts for government foreign affairs teams. It aggregates official sources (e.g., OFAC, EU, UK, UN, Canada, Australia) and normalizes entities, aliases, IDs, and program metadata into a single timeline. Users can subscribe to countries, programs, entities, or sectors and receive change-diff notifications (what changed, when, and why it matters). The app includes a lightweight case workspace to log internal decisions, attach supporting documents, and generate a short briefing note for leadership. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to summarize updates, detect likely entity matches/aliases, and draft briefings, but the system keeps a strict “source-first” audit trail with links to the underlying official notices.
