SanghaRoster

SanghaRoster is a web + mobile app for monasteries to plan and communicate daily monastic life: chores, kitchen duty, chanting, interviews, work periods, guest support, and special observance days. It replaces fragile whiteboards and ad-hoc messaging with a single source of truth that respects monastic norms (quiet hours, minimal notifications, role-based visibility). The app supports rotating assignments, skill/health constraints (e.g., lifting limits, fasting days), and simple attendance/coverage tracking without turning the monastery into a corporate workplace. A lightweight AI assistant can propose fair rotations and detect conflicts (e.g., someone assigned to kitchen during a retreat talk they must attend), but the human scheduler remains in control. Offline-first mobile views help in low-connectivity rural monasteries. The goal is boring reliability: fewer misunderstandings, fewer last-minute scrambles, and more time for practice.
