SanskritSpar

SanskritSpar is a mobile + web app that teaches Sanskrit basics using short, structured excerpts from Hindu educational staples (Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, simple stotras) with clear grammar scaffolding. Users read a line, tap words for sandhi split, meaning, and grammar tags, then do quick recall exercises that reinforce the exact concepts used in that line. It includes a teacher mode for small classes: assign passages, track comprehension, and run weekly quizzes. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps generate graded exercises, alternative translations, and error explanations, but the core curriculum is human-curated to avoid hallucinated “scriptural” content. The goal is practical literacy for students who want to understand what they chant or study, without needing a full-time guru or a university course.
