SaveSprint
SaveSprint is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that helps people save for a specific big purchase by turning saving into short, measurable weekly sprints. You set a target item, budget range, and deadline; the app calculates a realistic weekly contribution and then offers optional “micro-challenges” (e.g., pause one subscription, cook 3 dinners, sell one unused item) with estimated savings. It connects to your bank via read-only aggregation to verify progress and automatically categorize the savings impact, but it’s honest: estimates can be wrong and users can override them. The app focuses on behavior and follow-through rather than perfect budgeting. It also includes a “slip recovery” mode that recalculates the plan after missed weeks without guilt messaging. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI suggests challenges and identifies likely cuts, but the core value works without it.
