ScanTriage
ScanTriage helps small libraries and archives decide what to digitize first—before they waste time scanning low-value items. It’s a web app with an optional mobile capture companion that ingests a quick shelf/box inventory (CSV or phone photos), then guides staff through a structured triage workflow: condition, demand, rights risk, uniqueness, and preservation urgency. The app outputs a ranked digitization queue, a lightweight project plan, and standardized metadata stubs (Dublin Core fields) ready for your repository. It also tracks basic preservation actions (rehousing, cleaning, freeze/repair referrals) tied to each item so digitization doesn’t happen in a vacuum. This is a “combination” app: traditional workflow software plus AI-assisted extraction from photos and notes to reduce data entry. It’s intentionally not a full DAMS/repository replacement; it sits upstream and feeds whatever system you already use.
