Scene2Plan

Scene2Plan is a web + desktop app that converts real-world environments into motion-planning-ready scenes for mobile robots and cobots. Users import a LiDAR/photogrammetry scan (or a ROS bag), the app auto-cleans the mesh, segments floors/walls/obstacles, and generates simplified collision geometry plus costmaps. It then runs benchmarked planners (e.g., OMPL/MoveIt) against your robot model and produces a “planning readiness” report: narrow passages, unreachable goals, risky clearances, and parameter suggestions. This is not magic autonomy—expect manual review and iteration—but it removes the most tedious step: turning messy reality into a usable planning scene and validating it before deployment. Exports to common formats (URDF/SDF, OctoMap, Nav2 maps) and keeps a versioned history so teams can track how environment changes impact path feasibility.
