SceneAtlas

SceneAtlas is a web app (with optional desktop companion via Electron) for world-builders who actually write and run stories, not just collect lore. Instead of forcing users into rigid wiki pages, it organizes a setting around “playable” units: scenes, locations, factions, and conflicts. You drop a scene on a timeline and a map, attach involved characters/factions, and the app automatically highlights contradictions (dates, travel time, ownership, allegiances) and missing links. It includes a lightweight AI assistant that can propose connective tissue (e.g., plausible trade routes, political motives, cultural details) but only within user-approved constraints and sources. Export is practical: campaign packets for TTRPG sessions, writer’s room briefs, and continuity reports. The goal is speed and coherence, not endless documentation, with guardrails that keep the world usable at the table or on the page.
