ScenePassport is a mobile + web app for immersive theater producers to run location-aware, audience-driven experiences without building custom software each time. Guests scan a QR at entry, choose a character “path,” and receive timed prompts, audio, puzzles, and optional AR overlays that adapt to where they are in the venue. Staff get a lightweight control panel to pause, reroute, or trigger moments when rooms get congested. The app focuses on the unsexy reality: crowd flow, late arrivals, accessibility modes (captions, haptics), and reliable offline playback in basements and warehouses. It’s not a full XR platform; it’s a practical layer that makes immersive shows easier to operate and easier to repeat across nights. Monetization is per-show licensing plus per-attendee fees, with templates for common formats (mystery, scavenger, branching monologues).
