SceneScout is a mobile + web app for indie filmmakers to discover, vet, and secure real-world shooting locations without wasting weeks on Instagram DMs and dead-end emails. Users search by vibe ("neon diner", "brutalist hallway"), practical constraints (power access, noise, parking), and budget. Each listing includes owner availability, photo/video walkthroughs, basic sound notes, and a permit-readiness checklist tailored to the city. The app generates a shareable location packet for producers (maps, contacts, risks, fees, suggested shoot times) and tracks outreach status. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps tag locations from uploads, suggests similar spots, and drafts outreach messages, but the core value is a structured marketplace and workflow. Realistically, supply is the hard part—so the MVP focuses on a few cities and a tight owner onboarding flow.
