SceneSculpt

SceneSculpt is a web + desktop writing companion focused on fixing individual scenes, not “writing your novel for you.” You paste a draft scene (or write inside the editor) and run targeted passes: clarity, pacing, dialogue realism, character intent, and emotional arc. It returns a structured critique, a revised version with tracked changes, and a short checklist of what it changed and why. It also flags common scene-level issues (talking heads, missing stakes, inconsistent POV, exposition dumps) and suggests 2–3 alternative directions rather than one “best” rewrite. A lightweight “Scene Library” lets you tag scenes by POV, location, and timeline, then spot continuity conflicts across scenes. The goal is to help writers improve craft and speed up revision without replacing their voice. Expect strong value for serious hobbyists and working writers, but casual users may churn quickly.
