SceneSifter

SceneSifter is a web app with AI-assisted diagnostics that flags structural and pacing issues at the scene level. You upload a screenplay (FDX/PDF), and it auto-splits into scenes, then scores each scene for goal/obstacle/stakes clarity, conflict intensity, turning points, and redundancy. It highlights “flat” scenes, repeated beats, unclear motivation, and dialogue that doesn’t change the power dynamic. You get a timeline view showing tension over time, character presence balance, and setup/payoff tracking (e.g., props, promises, mysteries). It doesn’t rewrite your script by default; it tells you what’s not working and where, with short, actionable notes and examples from your own pages. Export a revision checklist per draft and compare drafts to see whether fixes actually improved pacing and clarity.
