SchedShield
SchedShield is a web + mobile app that enforces team-agreed “flex rules” across calendars so flexible schedules don’t collapse under meeting creep. Teams define guardrails like core overlap hours, no-meeting blocks, maximum daily meeting minutes, and time-zone fairness. The app connects to Google Calendar and Microsoft 365, monitors new invites, and automatically flags conflicts, suggests alternative times, or routes exceptions to an approver with a clear reason. It generates weekly “flex health” reports showing who is getting squeezed, which teams overbook, and where async updates could replace meetings. This is not a magic culture fix: it won’t solve bad managers. But it will remove the constant low-grade friction of negotiating time, and it gives HR/ops hard data to back flexible-work policies instead of vibes.
