SchemaReplay

SchemaReplay is a web app + lightweight CLI that turns captured API traffic into maintainable mocks and regression tests. Instead of hand-writing brittle fixtures, it records real requests/responses from staging (or local) and automatically generates an OpenAPI schema, example sets, and deterministic replay rules (headers, auth stripping, dynamic fields). It then runs “contract drift” checks in CI: if your service changes behavior, it flags breaking changes and updates mock datasets via a reviewable PR. The goal is to keep frontend and integration tests unblocked without letting mocks rot. This is not magic: it won’t perfectly infer every edge case, and you’ll still need curation for complex domains. But for typical JSON REST/GraphQL services, it can cut mock maintenance time dramatically and reduce the ‘works with mocks, fails in prod’ problem.
