SchemaScout

SchemaScout is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams alerts) that monitors your analytics pipelines for silent failures caused by schema drift, null explosions, type changes, and upstream “small” edits that ruin metrics. Connect your warehouse (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift) and dbt models, then set lightweight expectations: column presence, type, freshness, cardinality, and distribution bounds. When something changes, SchemaScout pinpoints the first table/model where the drift started, shows the exact diff, and estimates which downstream dashboards/metrics are impacted. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules and lineage do the detection; AI generates plain-English incident summaries, suggested fixes (SQL/dbt patches), and a short postmortem template. This is not a BI tool; it’s a reliability layer for analytics teams who are tired of firefighting and losing trust in numbers.
