SchemaSentry is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that continuously monitors master data structures and key fields across source systems (ERP, CRM, data lake tables) to detect “schema drift” and rule violations before they cascade into downstream failures. Instead of trying to replace your MDM hub, it sits alongside it: it learns expected field patterns, required attributes, reference code sets, and cross-system mappings, then alerts when something changes (new values, missing keys, type changes, sudden null spikes, duplicate surges). It provides a lightweight rules engine, anomaly detection, and a change timeline that ties issues to the system/user/job that introduced them. The MVP focuses on a narrow but painful slice: early warning + triage for customer and product domains. Realistically, it won’t magically fix bad data; it will reduce time-to-detect and time-to-diagnose, which is where teams bleed hours.
