SciScript

SciScript is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps researchers, comms teams, and educators convert dense scientific content into clear, accurate public-facing pieces. Users upload a paper, preprint, grant summary, or slide deck and choose an output format: press release, blog post, classroom explainer, short video script, or social thread. The app extracts key claims, methods, limitations, and uncertainty, then generates a draft written at a chosen reading level with built-in “accuracy checkpoints” that force the user to confirm evidence strength, sample size, and caveats before exporting. It also produces a one-paragraph “what we don’t know yet” section and a plain-language glossary. Collaboration tools support reviewer comments and a final approval workflow, because science communication is usually a team sport. This is an AI app plus traditional app: AI drafts and structures; humans approve and publish.
